The heavy-duty acrylic lid is ideal for observing degassing and is resistant to most resins, epoxies, and silicone compounds. However, it is not recommended for use with aggressive solvents like acetone, alcohol, or stabilizing resins containing cactus juice, as these can cause cracking. For applications involving these chemicals, please consider our chambers with tempered glass lids.

For most applications like resin degassing or wood stabilizing, we recommend a 2-stage rotary vane vacuum pump with a minimum flow rate of 3 CFM (cubic feet per minute). This provides the right balance of speed and power to reach a deep vacuum quickly. Ensure your pump has a 1/4" JIC/SAE flare fitting to connect to our included hose.

The stainless steel chamber body can handle high temperatures, but the system's limit is determined by the acrylic lid and silicone gasket. We recommend keeping the operating temperature below 160°F (70°C) to ensure the longevity and safety of these components.

Yes, all components, including the silicone gasket, vacuum gauge, valve manifold, and hose, are available as replacement parts to ensure your chamber provides years of service.

We offer a one-year warranty on the stainless steel chamber body, covering any defects in materials or craftsmanship that result in a leak. All other components, including the lid, gasket, and fittings, are covered by the same warranty against defects as well.
